Country Meets City

Imagine a beautiful sunny afternoon, crisp cool air, two really excited photographers, and a beautiful bride. Our time with the bride was such proof of why Lauren and I LOVE photographing life together. Over the course of the afternoon we laughed, played, froze, and explored some amazing locations. From a rustic staircase, old brick work, an "out of control" country mansion, and a stunning bride this shoot was definitely one of our favorites :) Enjoy the beautiful bride!

This morning I was reminded of the things I enjoyed the most about being a little girl. I love the playful spirit and excitement that kids naturally have. Miss Madison just turned 6 and had an amazing birthday bash. Her birthday party was spent playing dress up, singing along to lots of music, and showing off some great dance moves with her closest friends. I feel so privileged to have been a part of capturing what I hope is an unforgettable memory in her life:)

Valentine's Lovin

Happy V-day! I love Valentine's Day! I LOVE that this day gives husbands and wives a reason to leave cards, candy, or flowers to encourage one another and bring excitement to their day. I LOVE that kid's woke up this morning expecting nothing less than stuffed animals and lots of chocolate to eat all day long. I LOVE that when I woke up this morning my roommate had left all of us a box of my favorite candy hearts. I LOVE that their is something so special about receiving a Valentine even in your 20's. Today is a day to celebrate the things in life that matter most. I LOVE that I can celebrate my family and friends who bring light and love into my life!

I feel as if we all get so busy with life that we forget how LOVED we actually are. Take time today to remember and know that you were created to LOVE and be LOVED :) Enjoy some fun pics of the candy I will spend my day eating!!

Tell Your Story

I love the way that pictures have the ability to evoke emotion and tell a story. Through photography we have the privilege of meeting so many people and we wanted to put together a collection of some of the stories that we have gotten to be a part of. At Eliza Photography, we are passionate about capturing love in all its many forms, whether it is a newly married couple or roommates who love to invest time in another. Fearless

The word FEARLESS is exactly what I would use to describe my amazing friend Brittney! Even while taking her pictures I realized that Brittney portrays a woman who is so comfortable with who God created her to be. I love her ability to be sassy, laugh, dance, and look sincere in just moments of capturing her with my camera. Her beauty and confidence just radiates through just spending a few seconds with her. Over the last 2 years I have loved getting to watch Brittney pursue dreams and capture exactly who she was made to be in Christ.

Just for Brittney: Part of the title of this entry was inspired by the fact that we can not get enough of Taylor Swift's album entitled Fearless. Thank you for dancing around and lip singing with me to fun teeny bopper songs :)
